In the spring of 2014 I had the pleasure to visit and tour the newest offering from the Inns of Aurora, Rowland House. Named for it's esteemed owner Pleasant Rowland this house is a work of art. Speaking of art — it's walls are blessed by thoughtfully curated works from Pleasant's own collection of fine art. Each room is unique and appointed with great care. The floors of each bathroom are heated. The common spaces are gracious and welcoming and reveal views of the natural beauty of Cayuga Lake. I visit this place often and each time feel inspired and uplifted.
On a recent trip to State College, PA — where my mom lives — we took a trip to the Happy Valley Brewing Company for some inspiration for a project I was working on . . . creating the brand for Prison City Brewing.
We visited San Francisco as part of a reunion trip with my sisters in the summer of 2014.
I reunited with my three sisters in California in the summer of 2014. The four of us and our husbands rented a house in Santa Rosa and spent lovely days traveling the area. We tasted wine, cooked, and celebrated our love. On our last day my husband Tom and I drove down the coast and enjoyed a little beach time.
While in San Francisco we visited Alcatraz
We gathered together to celebrate our 50th Birthdays. Multiple house rentals on Owasco Lake. Limo ride to the wineries. Boat time and Birthday cakes. The best photos here were taken by my friend Laurie Walter. We are ever grateful that she captured the event.
I reunited with my sisters in Greenville SC near my sister Kathi's home in the summer of 2013.
In the spring of 2012 Tom and I visited dear friends the Spurlings in Istanbul. It was a trip of a lifetime.
